Samantha Mohr

Mohr is a UGA student who advised her to enter into Miss Columbus 1985 pageant, took home the crown. With this win, Mohr became eligible for her place in the Miss Georgia pageant which was staged in June 1985. Mohr was awarded crowning Miss Georgia in 1985 on Saturday 22nd June, 1985. Mohr took home over $3500 in scholarships and other prize money at the national pageant. She was Miss Georgia and made public appearances all over Georgia in the course of her duty. Mohr took part as Miss Georgia in Miss America 1986 in Atlantic City (New Jersey) in September 1985. Through computer-generated modeling, which successfully identified the possibility that Susan Akin would be named Miss America, Mohr's odds were set at 22 to 1. Mohr was not on The Top 10 list for national crown. Mohr's stint as Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
