Srushti Deshmukh began to prepare for the UPSC exam in her third year of her engineering degree. When she finished her senior year of engineering, Srushti Deshmukh was unsure if she could like working in the field of engineering. Later, she realized her passion was in civil service and started to focus on it. The parents of her encouraged her to focus on civil rights and get an opportunity to serve the public. She would study her engineering classes and study for UPSC while also studying different disciplines. Every day, she set aside some time to prepare for the exam. She prepared for engineering tests in only 1 1/2 months. She stayed clear of social activities as well as social media altogether. She firmly believes the focus is the most important factor to succeed in the exam of government and becoming an official in the civil service. She was determined to succeed in this test and made a great amount of work. Every day, she was reading the paper to stay updated with the current news.
